You know in Big Bang, when Sheldon’s all geeky about Superman catching Lois when she falls, and he’s like “blah, blah, blah, would’ve broken her in half, blah, blah, blah.” Now, do you remember the Smallville episode in which Clark wants to play football and he says something like “Dad, I have to pay attention to anytime someone pushes me and make sure I fall, blah blah blah.” 

Well that’s why I like to think that Superman didn’t like obliterate Lois’ body when he caught her.
